AUSTIN, TEXAS -- The Quantum Collective, an innovative music marketing company that brings musicians, artists, celebrities and consumer brands together through original programs and experiential live events, is now celebrating another wildly successful Southwest Invasion. The fourth annual, free, all ages live music event during SXSW was powered by WorldArts® and in association with Whole Foods Market® and Whole Planet Foundation®.

The 2015 Southwest Invasion, which took place last weekend at the Whole Foods Flagship Rooftop Plaza and Courtyard in Austin, TX, offered performances from over 40 artists on two stages for two full days and nights. It was listed on Top 10 SXSW lists from publications such as DO512, Shoeclack Radio, The Daily Texan, Gary’s Guide, and Culture Map Austin. Over 50,000 music fans traveling to Austin for SXSW RSVP’d for the 2015 Southwest Invasion. Despite rain on both days, there was a line wrapped around the block on North Lamar Boulevard throughout the weekend, while thousands of fans at home tuned in to the event’s live stream via WorldArts.

Reflecting upon the event, Quantum Collective Co-Founder, Executive Producer and Talent Curator, Dan Silver says, “What an amazing, successful fourth year! Keeping tradition – we retained a packed house, solid curation and amazing performances from unbelievable talent from around the world, and a fun layout of brand engagement across the rooftop. It was exciting to bring a second stage offering new bands a chance to perform. The addition of a Friday night dance party, with performances by Mexican Institute Of Sound and Toy Selectah’s COMPASS and Wooden Wisdom: Elijah Wood & Zach Cowie DJ set, kept the audience on their toes till the very end. Working with legends The Zombies and buzzing artists like Big Data, X Ambassadors, July Talk, and more, is a dream for us. We pour our hearts into producing an amazing experience for all!”

Next weekend, on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th from 9am – 8pm PST, WorldArts will re-stream the 2015 Southwest Invasion main stage performances via their website, WorldArts.com. Tune in to catch memorable performances from artists including Big Data, X Ambassadors, Jukebox The Ghost, Civil Twilight, The Sheepdogs, Mystery Skulls, Greg Holden, of Verona, Rocky Dawuni, Zeale and more. Woven into the performances will be exclusive on-camera interviews with the artists, including WorldArts opportunity winners Josiah Lemming, Novel Nature and Night Argent.

Thanks to the generosity of Southwest Invasion fans, over $1,750 were raised for Whole Planet Foundation via the 2015 Quantum Collective Musicians For Microcredit project. 100% of the funds raised will be used to alleviate poverty in 63 countries through Whole Planet Foundation; 9 loans will be funded which will help 45 people.
